Shortbread room
Ingredients: -
- 190g plain flour,
- 125g unsalted butter,
- 55g caster sugar.
Method: -
- Preheat the oven to 180 C / Gas 4.
- Cream together butter and sugar. Sieve in the flour - mix well.
- On a floured surface, roll out approx 1cm thick. Make your cutting and place on a grease proof lined baking tray. Keep rolling and cutting your dough until all your dough is used.
- Pop in the oven for 15 minutes, not letting the biscuits turn a golden colour.
- Sprinkle with a little caster sugar. Delicious warm or cold.
